A US Financial Company is currently looking for an experience IT Global support who is specialized in Hardware and Software asset management. The responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Manage hardware purchases and support renewals  to reduce  cost  

• Assist with implementing  and maintenance of  processes, procedures and workflows to accurately track and update asset information

• Manage receiving process

• Work with vendors for hardware asset disposals

• Manage hardware vendor relationships to ensure appropriate data is received and updated in the tool

• Participate in physical inventories 

• Maintain  processes and procedures  to ensure compliance with vendor contracts

• Report on hardware inventory, description, utilization and associated data for hardware assets

• Manage hardware inventory data with repetitive  data validation to ensure quality information is provided for  installs, usage and disposals 

• Provide data analysis for internal or  external audit requests

• Enforce security policies 

• Collect and analyse information to provide budget and forecast information to senior leadership 

• Track total cost of ownership

• Create and maintain document repository for  IT Hardware Asset Management  policies and procedures 

• Provide Lifecycle Planning by tracking hardware end of life.

• Participate in hardware refresh projects

• With Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Computer Science or any related course

• ITIL certification preferred

• Financial and/or Mortgage industry expertise preferred

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of IT Asset Management tools such as Service Now and SCCM

• Knowledge for inventory tools such as Barcode Technologies WASP

• Solid PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work items appropriately

• Self-motivated, self-confident team player that can work well in a fast-paced environment. Quick on one’s feet, fast thinker

• Ability to understand and communicate high level technical concepts

• Process driven; leverage existing sustain processes to efficiently execute duties

• Excellent communication both written and verbal. Facilitation, and elicitation skills to communicate with stakeholder groups

• Solid analytical skills and ability to solve problems. Applies a systematic problem-solving approach to gather needed information, evaluate alternatives, develop contingencies and prioritize actions. Generates sound solutions for complex business problems; anticipates obstacles and establishes next steps. Works with the customer to involve the right people; solicits input, knows and plans for stakeholder impact. Self-motivated, independent worker, driven to complete tasks quickly
