MicroSourcing Philippines Inc. is looking for a Marketing Database Manager for the leading media services provider in the mining and resources industry and delivers high value, premium subscription-based content through digital, print, conferencing and events channels based in Australia.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for creating, managing and improving the marketing audience database. You will be able to extract audience segments based on the marketing team’s request, and report on the position of our marketing database.In addition to building the database, you will create and manage an ongoing roadmap of activities to improve and grow the audience. This may include improving data quality, data cleansing, and managing data research. As a motivate self-starter, you will also seek out new database opportunities independently. You will work with the database research contractor to fulfil these activities.

  • Create and manage the marketing database roadmap 
  • Meeting with Marketing Managers to identify new database objectives
  • Preparing lists and data views to support marketing campaigns
  • Quality control of data
  • Cleaning, tagging, updating and maintaining data as required
  • Managing data mining projects to grow the marketing database in the most cost effective manner
  • Managing data mining budget
  • Overseeing third-party data suppliers
  • Using internal tools (Advance) to export data
  • Secure management of sensitive data (adhering to GDPR regulations)
  • Understand GDPR and enforcer of GDPR regulations when data requests are made
  • Excel expert – guru ability to slice, dice, pivot, and calculate
  • Audience segmentation based on profile (lead source, company, job title, region, etc)
  • Manage the upload of new leads into our subscription management tool, CRM, and email marketing systems on a regular basis
  • Monthly reporting on audience profile, conversion sources, lead sources and other KPIs
  • Meet regularly with Head of Marketing to update progress
  • Provide direction to the design and delivery of the Data Structure, Codes and Standards

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or other related area
  • Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in the marketing data and analytics industry
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent problem solving abilities – ability to troubleshoot independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Self-starter and can efficiently manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Experienced in record management, cleansing and tagging
  • Able to develop clear reporting on database KPIs
