  • Answer Service Desk support calls and process email support requests; Log incidents and requests in the service management system; Undertake technical investigation and provide solutions.
  • Create, manage, archive Office 365 email accounts.
  • Perform routine user account management including creation of new user accounts and archiving of old accounts according to documented processes.
  • Set up virtual machines in the VMware environment according to documented processes.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities including installation of Windows Server 2008 / 2012 software updates according to documented processes.
  • Daily checks of backups.
  • Weekly systems maintenance checks.
  • Liaise with Perth based staff where on-site work is required to resolve an incident or problem.

  • Supporting multiple clients in a service desk environment.
  • Managing Active Directory accounts, group policy etc.
  • Installing and configuring Windows Server 2008 / 2012

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • CompTIA Server+ or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Microsoft MCP.
  • Microsoft MCSE not essential but highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification in IT / Computer Science not essential but highly regarded.


  • Installation & support of desktop operating systems inc Windows 7, 8, 10.
  • Installation & support of desktop applications eg MS Office, Libre Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills using tools such as ping, traceroute, route, netstat.
  • Familiarity with Linux and command line driven environments.
