File Champs are responsible for checking all customer files and making sure each one is ready to be turned into a great printed product.

This means checking each file meticulously and fast, finding the right solution to any file error they come across. This is achieved by closely following guidelines and also by using their own initiative and creativity where required.

This will involve fixing text margins, adding bleed, changing colours to CMKY, converting files to Vector and sometimes coming up with more creative solutions. These changes then need to be explained to the customer, who is often not familiar with the world of print, so careful communication is key.

They must also have the ability to create a print-ready file from design brief to approved artwork when required.

The approved designs are printed on a wide range of products, including:

Business Cards

Greeting cards

Mouse pads

Gift vouchers

Graduate/equivalent in Graphic Design

Expert in the use of Indesign with knowledge of other Adobe Creative tools, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

Must be able to:

Add and fix text margins

Use Illustrator to convert files to Vector

Understand print terminology and the print process
