As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will be building and optimizing effective email marketing communications for our clients - improving conversion rates and ensuring that the universities are marketed to their full potential and prospective students are engaged with successfully. 

  • You will be responsible for setting up, testing (including quality assurance) and deploying emails all under the guidance of the relevant Email Marketing Portfolio Manager. 
  • You should be confident in manipulating HTML and CSS and be able to create engaging correspondence and have superb attention to detail. 
  • You will be working to improving open and click through rates using performance data and analytics and deliver and suggest improvements in collaboration with the Email Marketing Portfolio Managers. You will be optimizing email communications by operating in a test and learn environment, with a focus on increasing engagement and conversion metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, build and deploy email communications using the client’s email marketing software within agreed parameters and deadlines
  • Undertake regular QA checks
  • Communicate regularly with the wider team with regard to email turnaround time

Should be familiar with any of the following platforms:    

  1. Email Marketing: Constant Contact, Mailjet, VutureVx, ExactTarget, eNewsletter Pro System, MailChimp, Green Arrow, Moosend and Deliverability Agent    
  2. Campaign statistics: Google Analytics, JDSupra, Peoplelinx and Lexology
  3. Campaign management:  Spam, Deliverability, Hardbounces, Automation, Blacklisted/Whitelisted and Warm-up IPs
  4.  Mailing list management or segmentation: Client profiling: Opt-in clients versus Potential clients   , Suppression list: Competitors and Unsubscribed clients, Marketing strategy and AB Testing platform: Litmus

  • Preferrably a Bachelor’s Degree holder
  • Experience with email design, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with email marketing automation software
  • Experience with website management – i.e. Livelink, Sitecore, Wordpress, Agito Web Translation system, SharePoint and UX/IA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Data driven and experience of using MS Excel
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Enjoys working in a cross-functional team
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Amenable to work in MOA Pasay City on a mid-shift schedule
