  • Analyzing, investigating, and resolving unpaid claims for clients, mostly done through extensive verbal and written contact with Insurance carriers, doctors, lawyers, and patients
  • Making telephone calls, writing letters, and/or sending faxes to patients, insurance carriers, and other responsible parties in the pursuit of getting a claim resolved
  • Handling and interpreting medical documentation such as UB92 claim forms and EOBís
  • Analyzing, and interpreting documents, contracts, notes, and other correspondence
  • Writing appeals to insurance carriers to overcome denials
  • Manage an extensive portfolio of claims by prioritizing and organizing your time effectively
  • Comply with privacy laws and our clientís needs
  • Overcome obstacles by using effective information gathering and problem solving methods

  • Must demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and arithmetic in order to investigate claims issues and understand how to apply contract rates
  • Must possess good customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to work efficiently, in an organized fashion, and hit daily and monthly performance goals
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to perform other tasks as assigned
