  • To meet and increase revenue targets for the company by always looking for opportunities to sell auxiliary products like “Drive Easy” excess remuneration options to customers, advancing and closing the sale through inbound and outbound calls.
  • To gain a high degree of product knowledge of the company’s multiple suppliers offering, and apply this knowledge in the sales process to best meet the customer’s needs, whilst providing excellent customer service at all times.


  • To ensure the value of the customer is always maximized through looking for opportunity and selling to the customer, whilst not losing sight of the customer’s needs.
  • To convert new booking enquiries that come through other mediums like email, quotes, social media into sales.  This could involve multiple points of contact or follow up with some customers. 
  • To follow up booking enquiries that have not “closed in one” by way of outbound phone calls and or email correspondence.
  • To make outbound sales calls to existing customers who have not purchased Drive Easy or other auxiliary products or upgrade packages.  This could involve day or week long outbound call campaigns.  
  • To ensure that as a sales team member a high percentage of customer sales enquiries via phone, email, live chat are answered immediately with the remainder of enquiries being answered in a timely fashion or if processing related referred to the reservations team.
  • To ensure that a high percentage of customer enquiries via phone, email, live chat are converted into completed sales. 
  • Maintain good knowledge of core product like Car and Motorhome pricing and packages as well as excess coverage “Drive Easy” in order to sell the key benefits of this policy to the customer.   
  • To be flexible in working hours to ensure coverage and optimization of sale activities.
  • To provide backup support to the reservations processing team during peak seasonal needs 


  • To assist and work as part of the team to achieve set goals and targets.
  • To take ownership of task and duties and follow them up.
  • Ensure administration systems, processes and standards are maintained in accordance with existing company procedures.
  • Support others in any way possible that will help the business achieve its objectives.
  • To demonstrate a positive attitude and focus that will ensure successful performance of the responsibilities of the role.
  • To provide support to other departments within the business.  Most commonly this will involve assisting processing reservations staff or the identification and correct escalation of issues to other departments for further investigation and resolution.

  • Proven aptitude with software packages and databases, with the ability to adapt to changing technological demands
  • Strong sales skills particularly via the phone
