The Training and Development arm of Human Resources developed MicroSourcing University, an in-house virtual learning environment of instructor-led programs - from Effective Email Writing and Conversational English to Excel Basics and General Orientation for Leadership Development (GOLD).
Learning is a never-ending process, and these training programs are great opportunities for employees to learn something new or further hone their skills, making them more productive at work. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of MicroSourcing is in constant need of employee volunteers who will take part in its many initiatives, most of which are geared towards youth empowerment. With its three program areas - Careers Program, Employee Volunteering, and Disaster Relief - employees can have opportunities to give back to the community and contribute to a developing nation.
MicroSourcing is composed of a relatively young workforce coming from different backgrounds. The country annually produces more than 500,000 graduates from universities such as University of the Philippines, Ateneo de Manila University, and University of Santo Tomas.
