This role supports the financial planning, analysis and reporting tasks of the business unit. Model, analyze and communicate key metrics and drivers of the business with clear ability to create insightful analysis at product line and sub business unit level. This includes performance against historical performance, plans and forecasts.

The role directly supports different areas of the business such as: revenue and expense projections, sales trends analysis, pricing models, business cases analysis, etc. This role is expected to handle Executivesí financial analysis requirements in a fast paced and demanding environment.

  • Financial analysis, modeling and reporting - provide timely, relevant and accurate analytics to management to facilitate decision-making objectives. Develop high-quality financial models and other ad-hoc financial analysis, such as sensitivity/scenario analysis, margin expansion and cost controls.
  • Business partnership - work collaboratively with groups across various geographies and time zones and provide value-add analysis to the business leaders. Communicate variance analysis against historical, budget, forecasts and strategic plans, and assist in developing mitigation plans.
  • Special Projects - Carry out special projects as required. Initiate and carry out special financial or planning projects of varying nature and complexity with limited supervision by clarifying objectives and assumptions or making appropriate judgments where necessary. Participate in process improvement initiatives or projects related to business unit objectives.

Minimum Requirements     

5+ years progressive experience in financial planning, business development, or analysis

   

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.  MBA a plus

  • Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Excel skills, working with an ERP system (SAP or similar), Financial planning system (TM1 or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Hands-on attitude to get things done, with the tenacity to manage change to a successful conclusion. Demonstrated track record of delivering tangible results.
