The Financial Analyst 3 for Corporate Shared Services will drive the initial planning and ongoing forecast over several corporate functions. This individual will lead efforts to coordinate with internal accounting teams and corporate function leadership to develop thoughtful plans and forecasts. They will be responsible for the review of actual activity, communication of results to stakeholders and identification of risks and opportunities in the forecast.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Corporate leadership to develop FY22 plans
  • Complete variance analyses for month to date and year to date financial results against plan
  • Communicate variances to stakeholders (Corporate Leadership and other BU FP&A teams)
  • Continue to enhance effectiveness by building simple and effective analytical tools which enable better trend analysis and forecasting capabilities
  • Develop and monitor shared service allocations (allocating corporate costs to business units)
  • Support the development of automated reporting, dashboards, and visualization tools to improve speed and accuracy of insights
  • Various other standard and ad hoc projects and initiatives, as required

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelorís degree required with preference toward a degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline. CPA/MBA preferred.
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in a corporate finance or related function with a demonstrated record of success
  • Must have extremely strong MS Excel skills and experience with financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting tools

Critical Skills

  • Financial modeling expertise a must
  • Financial systems experience required, TM1 and Oracle experience is preferred
  • Ability to summarize and present transaction volume/trends to management
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated quantitative analytical and finance and/or accounting skills required
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Additional Skills and Expertise

  • Financial business partner experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion are required
  • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and ability to work independently
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Independent worker and analytical thinker with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
  • Strong presence with the ability to interact with Senior Leadership.
